Important Notice
We would like to inform you that, following instruction from the Health Board, Underwood Health Centre is required to change its clinical system as Vision will no longer be available in Wales. As a result, we will be moving to a new clinical system, EMIS. This new system will go live on Thursday 12/3/26
Unfortunately, we will be unable to process repeat prescription requests during the system changeover (5th -16th March 2026). If your prescription is due during these dates please order any repeat prescriptions you may need by Friday 27th February 2026. You may be issued 2 months’ worth of medication.
On Thursday 5th March at 12pm the surgery will be closed for Training.
During the system change:

The NHS Wales App and all online services will be unavailable between 4-16th March

You will not be able to order prescriptions, view medical records or access online information

Appointments will still take place, however: appointment availability will be reduced.

Priority will be given to urgent and emergency appointments only.
The surgery will remain open during this period for any queries or concerns you may have.
