Missed Appointments in surgery

Appointments must be attended on time, or cancelled with adequate notice, so that the appointment may be re-allocated. This can be done by calling at least 30 minutes before your appointment time. Cancelling any closer to your appointment will mean we are unable to re-use your allocated slot, resulting in a wasted appointment. This is still classed as a missed appointment.

Late attendance of an appointment (more than 5 minutes) will have to rebook. Recurrent non-attendance will be removed from the practice list. 

An appointment is for one person only and can be arranged for a maximum of 2 problems. If you require longer appointment for multiple issues, please inform the receptionist, who will book a double appointment (Tuesday-Thursdays).

Please be understanding and patient if your appointment is running late, this may be due to an emergency that may have arisen.

Please inform us in writing if you change any of the following personal details:

Name, address or telephone number. There may be instances when we need to contact you.
